Dr. Mark Ellner is the Coordinator of the Physical Education and Health program at Kansas State University, where he leads curriculum development, student mentorship, and innovative teaching practices in teacher education. As the College of Education’s Distance Supervision Specialist, he has pioneered the use of GoReact and telepresence technology to enhance teacher training and professional development.
With experience presenting at state and national levels, Dr. Ellner’s work focuses on preparing future teachers through experiential learning, relationship-building, and the integration of technology in physical education. He also serves as Convention Manager for KAHPERD, where he organizes professional development opportunities for educators across Kansas.
His passion lies in equipping educators to create meaningful, engaging, and inclusive physical education experiences that promote lifelong wellness.
